This is a fantasy story set in the realm of Akbar, where evil forces have settled. In order to be free again Princess Mara sends her daughter Pélisse along with the young and adventurous farmer Bragon to search for the Bird of Time, that can lift the curses of the land.

The French title La Quête de l'Oiseau du Temps means The Quest for the Bird of Time in English.
