MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1957*. Stopped in 1993 after 30 issues.

The main characters in the series (meaning The Beaver Patrol in English), are a group of intrepid boys who travel around the world on dangerous adventures. The members - identified by their patrol names - are: The leader Poulain Perspicace, the second in command Chat Tout à Tous, the scientific Faucon Discret, the hungry and blundering Tapir Affamé, and the youngster Mouche Laborieuse.

The scouts actually grow older as the series progresses. Also, their uniforms change colour in 1964 from blue to red in correspondence with the real changes in the Belgian scout movement.

* Initially started in 1954 in Spirou.
