Personal dates: Founded in Germany in 1988 by Jürgen Janetzki (1943-2009). Stopped in 2000 but continued from 2006 as Splitter GmbH & Co. by Horst Gotta, Delia Wüllner-Schulz, and Dirk Schulz. Ongoing.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2008. Stopped in 2015 after 8 issues.

The story takes place in the end of the 12th century, and tells about the 3rd Christian crusade to the Holy Land. One of the many occurring characters is the knight Gunther of Flanders, who has his doubts as for the purpose of the crusade.
