MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2003. Stopped in 2005 after 7 issues, but has been briefly revived several times since then.

The starring character is Carl Kolchak, who is an investigative reporter thriving on solving puzzling, and often supernatural, criminal cases that baffle the police.

The character as such first appeared in a 1972 novel followed by a TV series titled Kolchak the Night Stalker from 1973 to 1974 (22 episodes). The full title of the series on this page is Kolchak: tales of the Night Stalker.
