MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1994. Stopped in 1996 after 11 issues.

The title character is a mysterious figure, possibly a supernatural being, who craves souls and travels to some of the last war scenes of the 20th century such as Sarajevo in Bosnia/Herzegovina and Mogadishu in Somalia.
The series' title refers to a widespread type of graffiti used by soldiers from the American forces in Europe during the Second World War. The initial sentence was Kilroy Was Here suggesting that the forces had been victorious and then left the place.
