The series premiered in 1951*. Stopped in 1953 after 10 issues.

The title character is a tough American private detective of Irish descent. He takes on all types of special cases such as dealing with ruthless killers, criminal masterminds, and ferocious vampires.

* The character as such first appeared in 1950 in Police Comics #103 and stayed on for the duration of the series.
