MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1974*. Stopped in 1977 after 20 issues, but has been briefly revived several times since then.

The title character is Lord Kevin Plunder, who lives in a beast and dinosaur infested realm named Savage Land, which is hidden under Antarctica. For those reasons he is also known as Lord of the Hidden Jungle. At his side Ka-zar has Zabu the sabre-toothed tiger.

* The character as such first emerged in pulp fiction books from 1936 on under the name of David Rand. He was a Tarzan-like person living in the African jungles.
