MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2010. Ongoing.

The main character is the Japanese teenage girl Nanami Momozono, who used to be mocked by her schoolmates, until she was one day given the powers of a minor land god. She meets a fox yokai (a supernatural being in Japanese folklore) by the name of Tomoe, and despite them being a human and a yokai they eventually fall in love which is taboo.
