Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1965*. Stopped in 1998, but continued under another publisher. Ongoing.

This annual Swedish series presents short stories featuring the characters from Walt Disney's duck universe.

The series was from the start titled Kalle Ankas Julbok or Kalle Anka Julbok, until it was retitled to mostly read Kalle Anka from 1960. The initial titles mean Donald Duck's Christmas Album in English.
