The series premiered in
1954. Stopped in 1959 after 17 issues.
The character of Jim Bradley, nicknamed
Jungle Jim, is a hunter living in the southeast Asian theater.
Besides his normal job he also has to fight numerous antagonists
such as ferocious tribes, slave traders, and pirates.
The basic series has been published in several versions.
The initial one that boosted later series was created as a
newspaper strip in 1934 by Alex Raymond.
