Personal dates: Founded as MLJ Magazines (the initials of the founders' first names) in 1939 by Maurice Coyne, Louis Silberkleit, and John L. Goldwater, but the name was soon changed. Ongoing.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1965*. Stopped in 1987 after 226 issues, but continued as a new series until 1993 (additional 45 issues).

The stories focus on the characters from Archie, especially Forsythe 'Jughead' Pendleton Jones III.
