MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1977.

The title character lives in the second half of the 21st century in a futuristic society called Mega City One, which covers the eastern part of North America. His occupation is that of a special judge, who carries out police work with the rights to also judge and execute criminals.
His name is Joseph Dredd, and he was genetically chosen and cloned for his job at the age of 5. Since then his mental and physical abilities have grown into unique proportions, and he is now equipped for fierce battles with his many opponents.
