MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1936. Stopped in 1958.

The stories are about a family with two children, brother and sister, who go on adventurous and dangerous explorations with their pet monkey.

Hergé made the mistake of using two very young children in the stories, because this restricted their travel activity. This was a problem that he did not have in Tintin, where the primary character is a young reporter who can easily travel the globe. Hergé found it difficult to develop new stories with the two 'constraining' children, and the series was stopped in the middle of the sixth album.
