MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1943.

The title character is most often portrayed as the neighbour of Donald Duck. Jones - who is generally known as Neighbor J. Jones - is perceived to be a choleric character and the antagonist of Donald, but it is generally hard to tell who of the two is the instigator of the resulting violent events that frequently occur.

The stories were/are written by an overwhelming number of artists. Examples: Carl Barks (1901-2000), Robert 'Bob' Gregory (1921-2003), Abramo Barosso (1931-2013), Ivan Saidenberg (1940-2009), Ruud Straatman (1948-), Frank Jonker (1965-).
