MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1950. Stopped in 1952 after 9 issues.

The series is built around a real person named Johnny Mack Brown (1904-1974), who started his career as a football halfback, but he soon switched to Western films. The series is loosely based on Brown's merits from his numerous films, in which he often starred as Johnny Mack.
