CREATOR

The series premiered in 1944. Stopped in 1977.

The main character is an airforce pilot, who manages to participate in several wars and conflicts such as World War 2 (in both the European and the Pacific theaters!), Korea, and Vietnam. Inbetween, i.e. during the Cold War, he functions as a freelance pilot, who deals with spies and all sorts of criminal activities - as well as lovely ladies.
One uncharacteristic feature in the main character, compared to other two-fisted heroes, is that Hazard changes appearance as time goes by - he is simply ageing.
