Jim Cutlass Charleston is the name of a former lawyer, who wanders in and out of the North States' army during the American Civil War. He travels in disguise to the South States in both personal and military matters, and he always makes more enemies than friends.

The full main title of the series is Une Aventure de Jim Cutlass.
