MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1985*. Stopped in 2003 after 20 issues**, but continued under another publisher. Ongoing.

This humouristic and slightly nostalgic album series, published annually around Christmas, tells about the life and times of a fictitious Norwegian, Jens von Bustenskjold, who lives mainly as a farmer in Oladalen during the 1930s. One of the most often recurring characters is a full-bearded friend known as Plassbakk-kallen.

* Initially, the series ran under another publisher from 1972 to 1984 (13 issues). ** The series was published both at Easter and at Christmas in 1991.
