The series premiered in 1987.

The starring characters are about 20 years of age. When they meet Diana is on welfare, while Jakob is the wealthy son of a successful industrialist. The couple gets entwined in events partly originating from Jakob's father's line of work, and they have to travel extensively in order to solve diverse crimes.

The albums are published in both black and white and colour.
