The series premiered in 1968. Stopped in 1969 after 48 issues.

The issues contain several action stories featuring numerous series such as Black Patch, Football Family Robinson, MacTavish and O'Toole, The Daredevils, The Indestructable Man, and The Outlaws.
The series' title is an abbreviation of Jaguar, which in turn is a reference to two other titles Lion and Tiger.
