MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1999. Ongoing.

The main character is I.R.S. government agent Larry B. Max, who tries to stop tax evasion and money laundering performed by organized crime in the USA. To that end he has access to the USAs vast databases and IT ressources.

The series' title I.R.S. stands for Internal Revenue Service, where the S has been substituted for a $ in the front cover titlings to underline the reference to money.
