The series premiered in 2005. Ongoing.

In a fictional and adventurous world special people are hunting for different types of prey and artifacts. Sometimes they fight to get the choice bits, and sometimes they join forces in order to succeed in their projects. The most often recurring characters are Gon Freecss (or Freaks or Freeces), Kurapika, Leorio Paladinight, and Killua Zoldyck.
