The
series premiered in 1949. Stopped in 1955. The character - affectionately called Hoppy - was invented for the cinema where William Boyd personified him. In the media (films, television, newspapers, comics) we follow the cowboy sheriff Cassidy, who was the brainchild of author Clarence Mulford back in 1904, on his missions to make the U.S. West a better place to live by fighting all bandits and outlaws in or around his hometown Twin Rivers. |
