Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1952. Stopped in 1954 after 18 issues.

The starring character is young Howie Howe, a self-declared womanizer, who lives his daily life among his many friends. One day he joins the military, but this minor setback does not stop him chasing girls.
