MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1985*. Stopped in 1991 after 56 issues.

The starring character is an anthropomorphic and self-confident cat, who lives with the Nutmeg family in the small port town of Westfinster. Mr. Nutmeg's grandson Iggy is best friends with Heathcliff. Most of his life evolves around eating, but he also has time for his feline friend named Sonja, who lives with the Jablonski family.
