MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1960. Stopped in 1962 after 11 issues.

The series stars a professional gunfighter known only as Paladin, who, after the Civil War, offers his services via a business card containing the title's catchphrase. His base is Hotel Carlton in San Francisco, where he lives the good life and is often mistaken for a dandy. When he is hired for a mission he dresses as a typical gunman and goes to work. Untypically for that kind of occupation, Paladin prefers to settle problems without violence.

The series is based on a TV series that ran from 1957 to 1963. It was titled slightly different as Have Gun - Will Travel.
