MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1993. Stopped in 1995 after 26 issues.

The title character, whose real name is Tom Hawke, was once a member of The Squad, a superhero team that got destroyed during a mission with Hardcase as a survivor. He then decided to retire from the action scene, but he soon realized that he was badly needed to cope with diverse villainous types, so he took up the gauntlet again.
