MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1957. Stopped in 1967 after 151 issues, but was continued by other publishers from 1970 to 2002 (additional 342 issues).

This began as a strip format series* featuring the main characters from Woody Woodpecker.

From #16-1959 to #8-1960 the full title of the series was Hakke Hakkespett og andre Sköyere.

* From #16-1959 the issues were published in standard format.
