MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1957. Stopped in 1961 after 22 issues.

The series stars an Old West lawman named Matt Dillon (initially named Mark Dillon), who is a righteous marshal with base in Dodge City, Kansas.

The series is a spinoff from a radio series (1952-1961) and a TV series (1955-1975). Initially, it is a newspaper strip titled Gun Law.
