The series premiered in 1956. Stopped in 1978. This is a newspaper strip starring an Old West lawman named Matt Dillon, who is a righteous marshal with base in Dodge City, Kansas. The series is a spinoff from a TV series (1955-1975), which has also been portrayed in Gunsmoke. |
