MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1979. Stopped in 1981 after 36 issues.

The main character is sea captain Lemuel Gulliver who is shipwrecked on islands populated by little people.

The concept as such derives from adventures published by the Irish novellist Jonathan Swift. The series is based on an American 1968 cartoon TV series that aired in Germany during 1979 (13 episodes).
