MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2001. Ongoing.

The story takes place in 1094 in the German Rhine valley between Koblenz and Bingen. The main character is Greif (meaning Griffin in English), who is the foster son of old Baltasar and member of a group of traveling entertainers, of which he is a knife thrower. As time goes by Greif discovers that he is of noble origin.
