MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1937.

The matriark in the duck universe is probably Elvira Duck better known as Grandma, because she is normally perceived as Donald Duck's granny. She lives a toilsome life tending her farm, and the only help she has is the bone-idle Gus Goose.

The stories were/are written by an overwhelming number of artists. Examples: Carl Barks (1901-2000), Charles Alfred 'Al' Taliaferro (1905-1969), Robert 'Bob' Louis Karp (1911-1975), Carl Robert Fallberg (1915-1996), Donald 'Don' Ragnvald Christensen (1916-2006), Victor 'Vic' Lockman (1927-).
