MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2006*. Stopped in 2008 after 13 issues.

The starring character is a mysterious sharpshooter, who is hired as a paid assassin all over the world. His background and name are unknown but he is generally known as Golgo 13, which is a reference to the Christian bible telling of Jesus Christ's crucifixion at Golgotha and his and his 12 disciples' attendance at the last supper.
