Personal dates: Founded in Denmark in 1899 as P.I.B. by Hjalmar Carlsen (1875-1951) and has since then changed name several times. It has subsidiaries in several European countries. Ongoing.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2001. Stopped in 2004 after 10 issues.

The main character is a former student, Kintaro Oe, who left Tokyo University without graduating in order to live as a travelling student, a so-called Freeter in Japan. The stories depict his life as a free spirit, travelling from job to job.
