CREATOR

Name: Egmont Group (worldwide comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in Denmark in 1878 by Egmont Harald Petersen (1860-1914) and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Gutenberghus). Ongoing.

Comments: The corporation has always focussed on childrens' literature. It has branches all over the world, but the pages in this site are all examples from the Danish main  branch.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2005. Stopped in 2006 after 7 issues.

The two childhood friends, Mikako Kouda and Tsutomu Yamaguchi, are attending the Yazawa Geijyutsu Gakuen arts school, persuing their individual dreams. Kouda studies to become a fashion designer, while Yamaguchi tries to become a musician. They are both focussed on their careers, which causes some disturbance in their relationship.

The series is also known in the USA as Neighborhood Story, which is the direct translation of the Japanese title.
