MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2010. Ongoing.

The fantasy series is primarily built on Richard Wagner's opera by the same title as well as passages in Norse mythology. The story tells about the world of the Nibelungs that is riddled with war, but it is believed that getting a powerful gold ring from Midgard, the world of the humans, can restore the peace.
