MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1977*. Stopped in 1979 after 24 issues.

The dominating character is a Japanese Kaiju (Japanese for a giant monster) that has reached the westcoast of the USA. Most of the time it causes mayhem and diverse superheroes are involved in battling it, but sometimes it is fighting other monsters thus helping the Americans.

* Originally, Godzilla premiered in a film from 1954 and so far it has appeared in 28 Japanese films.

The full title of the series is Godzilla King of the Monsters.
