The series premiered in 1997*. Stopped in 2009 after 216 issues.

This is a lifestyle fan magazine aimed at young girls featuring articles, posters, and graphic stories.

* Initially, the magazine ran under another publisher from 1989 to #1/1997 (110 issues). During its run a corresponding magazine titled Girls Extra was published 1-3 times per year (12 issues plus 2 earlier issues under another publisher).
