The title character, Gil St André, is a man who has it all; beautiful family, big house, exciting job, lots of money. But one day his woman Barbella is kidnapped and Gil soon finds himself dealing with the crime as the police efforts are not very impressive. Later, Gil gets involved in more police matters.
