The series (the German title means Ghost Stories Special in English) contains a mixture of horror and suspense in self-contained stories often of the more psychological and macabre kind.

The full title of the series is Die Unheimlichsten Gespenster Geschichten meaning The Eeriest Ghost Stories in English.
