MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1945. Stopped in 1947 after 18 issues.

The series contains stories featuring live puppets. It origins from animator George Pal (1908-1980) who had invented a special stop-motion technique for puppets of many types, which was used in several American films. The invention was officially named Pal-Doll, but it soon became known as Puppetoons.
