MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1957. Stopped in 1997 following Franquin's death.

The main idea is a stroke of genius; most actions take place in the publishing house Spirou, where we follow daily routines and all sorts of colleagues.
The focus is on the well-meaning but totally inept office boy Lagaffe ('Gaffe' means 'Blunder' in French) who is rarely seen working. He passes time by - mostly unwittingly - orchestrating spectacular and disastrous events while he moves around in his own thoughts.
