The series premiered in 1980. Stopped in 1987.

The strip series takes place in a zoo, where all sorts of talking animals interact with no interference from zookeepers or restrictions from cages. Some of the recurring animals are a mouse that sees itself as a great liontamer, a rabbit that likes to walk on stilts, a snake that deplores that it was born without limbs, and a bear that is always hungry.

Initially, the series was titled Zoo. The current Danish title means Feeding Forbidden in English.
