MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1989. Stopped the same year after 8 issues, but has been revived several times since then.

The main character in this post-apocalyptic series is a warrior known as Kenshiro. He has dedicated his life to travel around and help the weak and innocent, and in doing so he uses a unique martial arts style called Hokuto Shinken. It gives him the ability to kill his adversaries from within via activating their bodies' secret vital points resulting in their often violent deaths.
