MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1937 in Denmark.

This is the longest running pantomime strip in the world. It features a small suburban family who are moving silently (literally!) around in their house and the immediate surroundings. Ferd'nand, who is supposed to be the chubby, mustachioed man (we do not know for sure because the characters never speak!) wears a very special, conical hat that bears resemblance to Chico Marx's from the Marx Brothers.
