MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1974. Stopped in 1979 after 29 issues.

The series stars the obese boy Albert Jackson, nicknamed Fat Albert, who leads a club called the Junkyard Gang. The club activities mostly evolve around sports, games, and music, and most of the other members come from the Cosby family.

The series is based on an animated cartoon TV series that ran from 1972 to 1985 (110 episodes). The title was Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, which is also the comic book series' full title.
