MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1946. Stopped in 1964.

The main character Eric is a noble Norwegian Viking Prince - later King - and a great warrior and fighter for justice. Adventurous as he is he often travels foreign countries where he meets tough adversaries and strange creatures.
Kresse's choice of historic background as well as the lack of speech bubbles were inspired from Hal Foster's epos Prince Valiant.

The title of the series can be translated to Eric the Norseman.
