MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1962. Stopped in 1965 after 9 issues.

The series stars a young intern, James Kildare, who is working at the fictional, metropolitan hospital Blair General. There he tries to learn the profession by dealing with all sorts of patients in order to achieve the respect of his superiors.

The series is a spinoff from film, radio, and TV series by the same title. Combined they ran from 1938 to 1972.
