The series premiered in 1955. Stopped in 1971.

The series contains single panels illustrating a situation from everyday life served with a twist in either graphics or the accompanying short dialogue under the panel. The title character is a young and freckled, easygoing wildcat who is living with the love of her life, Clas. Their life changes between blissful moments and quarrels mainly caused by Dorte's temperament.
